		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t like the way the article portrays AKP&#039;s politics. It should be clear that AKP is NOT particulary campaigning against the Kurds. It is worse.

There a hundreds of Marxist, feminists, left-leaned journalists, lawyers, academics, students and military officials (!) in Silivri and other prisons. These are not all people who do support the BDP (not to mention PKK) but people who stand for a SECULAR and EGALITARIAN society. To reiterate, the AKP is an Islamic party with patriarchal structures and oppresses EVERYONE who does not fit into their ideology. 

An relative of mine who is a retired colonel and a close friend of the family who happens to be a Marxist journalist are locked away and share the same prison.
Mainstream Western media and politics seem only to criticize the AKP when it comes to the Kurdish case and I can&#039;t help to wonder why. We should not follow their steps..]]></description>
