		<description><![CDATA[The more things change.........! With apartheid presumably coming to an end in 1994 hopes were high and Mandela and his government initially showed promise with housing (Joe Slovo), electricity and water and communications being laid on and slow - very slow - progress being made to right the wrongs of all those years of apartheid.
End of Mandela and beginning of Mbeki and the backsliding began - and then Zuma arrives and disaster arrives too.
South Africans deserve better than this after the years of struggle and deprivation and then the UK stops aid budgets.
And don&#039;t forget the years of HIV/AIDS decimating the country and still does!
