I used to live in a squat at the bottom of the square mile on Lordship Lane in 1992. The Woodberry estate was a terrible place.

What do the people who have moved on think? Is there any resources that give a balanced view of what they think, e.g. has it worked out for them?

So increasing the density by 130% is leading to a shortage of homes in London? This has nothing to do with the housing shortage, although the arguments of reduced affordability is true.

However, I think you have actually been on Woodberry Down estate before the rebuild. You would have seen that it was a massive shithole. Decaying concrete blocks, poor sightlines, terrible public space. You wrote a much more balanced picture of this (and the mixed feelings the current residents have) in your February 2012 piece for eastlondonlines.
