Red Pepper magazine needs a Volunteer and Admin Co-ordinator
Work with the Board, Publisher and Editorial team to maintain and develop the magazine’s subscriber base and fundraising capacityCoordinate the work of volunteers in performing a variety of administrative, promotional and fund-raising tasksManage the magazine’s promotional presence at conferences and events and arrange for the distribution of magazines to venues (including drawing up a timetable of events)Respond to email and telephone queries from subscribers, contributors and othersSupport the publisher in sending out regular and occasional mailings to subscribers and other groupsAct as the Secretariat for meetings of the Red Pepper Board, including circulating agendas and taking minutes of meetingsLog and request the receipt of books for review and to dispatch to contributors
£6800 per annum (review pending), two days per week (some flexibility with days), based in our London office.
Can you communicate with passion and energy about Red Pepper and recruit and coordinate a network of volunteers around the UK to promote and sell our magazine?
Red Pepper is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible person to join our team of staff and volunteers. You will be responsible for coordinating our presence at events and conferences around the UK, volunteer involvement and our office admin.
Experience (voluntary or paid) of volunteer coordination and managing computer databases.
