Just how people who never had to pay any fees themselves can vote on something like this for others is just the ultimate.

One can easily understand why things got a bit out of hand at the student protests late last year.

My mother reckons the whole issue has got nothing at ALL with having to cut university spending and everything to do with making university once again the sole preserve of the rich.

I believe our country will pay dearly for how we are treating the young (the cuts to youth services etc as well as this issue). And serve us damn well right.

Thank goodness though for magazines like Red Pepper which actually tells the exact truth about things as opposed to the mainstream media which I hardly bother with nowadays.
