The problem the NHS and private medical facilites face is "high salary" inflation.
As long as successive governments do nothing to control the high saleries, bonues etc paid in the ptivate sector, salaries for managers and consultants in the medical services etc are sure to follow upwards. As Labour and Gordon Brown found, the result was and is that a large proportion of money being sunk in the health service either from public or private insurance purses goes to pay these salaries.
It can't continue.

The problem is of course Wales is a small country, and with free prescriptions already adding pressure to cost and the Assembly hinting that it may end. Doctors GP appointments now can take a month, I had a hospital appointment which took eighteen months and they have canceled again.

So yes it's great for Wales to be socialist, sadly everything we do has to be paid for out of some other pot.

Hospital are closing A&E departments refusing to take emergency not to sure how long Wales will keep going with more and more cuts, longer and I mean much longer waiting times we are almost up to Thatchers days waiting to be seen.

I suspect before long Wales will have no choice but to either cut back, close hospital or go with England.
