The Tombs of Deir el Medinah.
Delighted to read this article as I also visited this site in 2009. My main pleasure & delight on my visit to Egypt was to walk amongst this particular historic site. I can recall my excitement in discovering the first workers revolt against the monarchs of Egypt. These were the first active trade union families.I walked in the village & burial grounds of these actual creators & builders of all the grandeur that I saw in Luxor & Cairo including the museum.
I laughed then & still do today at the ignorance of society today at their beliefs on the Illuminati's all seeing eye, bunk history, phony religious creeds & philosophies etc, etc.
So little is known or taught about these Worker Creators of Middle Egypt. It is said see Egypt before you die , something I understand only too well now.
