Well Local Resident- i grew up a few kilometers from the drill site and worked for a number of years on the Balcombe Estate.

I like you love Balcombe. Which is why i am surprised you are more concerned about ‘poor Richards field’ than the risk and damage Cuadrilla are doing to OUR ecosystem. You do not seem concerned about the damage Cuadrillas opertations are doing to local wildlife- nor do you seem bothered by the fact that our democratic decision making process has been side stepped by our local parish council, W.S.S.C and the government- which is why people are protesting.

As a local I too support the Balcombe Protest Camp- they are giving up their time voluntarily to protect our community, and others from the short term greed of the fossil fuel industry, corrupt politicians and their supporters

Well Erik, if your are a local resident then you must take your fight to the people you so hate. They are not based in Balcombe or Brook Street – they are in Westminster. And if as you say you are a local resident then you will know the anger that is spread around the silent majority here who get shouted down by angry people like you who spread your fear uncertainty and doubt without the world having a chance to debate. Perhaps you support the people that raided poor Richards livestock field to stage their party illegally. Perhaps you should go with your new found friends to where ever they came.

I am also a local resident and I welcome the protesters with an open heart. What I do not welcome is a international corporation poisoning our water table, bringing outside contractors in place of numerous jobs that would be created if our goverment spend the same millions on renewable energy that it is spending on protecting and subsidizing Quadrilla.

Please will you people go away. Nobody wants you here, you have disrupted our lives all summer the vast majority of the protesters no nothing about our area or fracking, you have made our area of outstanding natural beauty ugly and litter strewn, you have upset livestock, and peoples living. Please go away.
