The organisation advocates immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces in Iraq, reparations for the destruction and corporate pillaging of Iraq so that ordinary Iraqi people can control their own lives and future, and full benefits, adequate healthcare (including mental health), and other support for returning servicemen and women.
  • Stop the War Coalition
A national broad-based coalition of over 450 local anti-war coalitions around Britain opposing the recent US–UK-led wars on Afghanistan and Iraq.
  • Trident Ploughshares (TP)
Part of the international nuclear disarmament movement, Trident Ploughshares is a national network of activists pledging to disarm the 39 sites in the UK related to the internationally unlawful British Trident nuclear submarine weapons system through non-violent, open, peaceful, safe and fully accountable direct action.
  • United for Peace and Justice
A coalition of more than 1,300 international and U.S.-based organisations opposed to the US’ policy of permanent warfare and empire-building. It mobilises around seven issue campaigns: Iraq, counter-military recruitment, global justice, nuclear disarmament, Palestine/Israel, civil liberties/immigrant rights and faith-based organising.
  • Women in Black (WIB)
A loose network of women world-wide committed to peace and justice and actively opposed to war and other forms of violence, who demonstrate by staging women-only, silent, non-violent vigils in public spaces dressed only in black.
