Anti-racism and anti-fascist groups and campaigns

  • Anti Nazi League (ANL)
    A broad-based organisation that aims to bring together as many people as possible in a united grassroots campaign against the Far Right. Organises the successful and popular Love Music Hate Racism campaign which uses the music scene to create a vibrant counter-culture to racial hatred.
  • Antifa
    Antifa is a collective of militant anti-fascists committed to opposing the rise of the far-right in Britain and abroad.
  • Campaign against Racism and Fascism The CARF group is not aligned to any political party or tendency. It is composed of individuals from many walks of life: designers, lawyers, journalists, students, race relations workers all of whom share a commitment to fighting racism.
  • Kick Racism Out of Football
    Kick It Out works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge racism and work for positive change.
  • National Assembly Against Racism (NAAR)
    A black community organisations-led coalition uniting representatives from faith-based organisations, trade unions, refugee organisations and youth/student groups in campaigns and educational programmes such as fighting the far right, racial violence and black deaths in custody.
  • Newham Monitoring Project
    Independent community-based anti-racist organisation, set up in 1980. We are based in the east London borough of Newham in England.
  • Love Music Hate Racism
    Love Music Hate Racism was launched in the summer of 2002 in response to rising levels of racism and British National Party electoral success, particularly in the north west in former mill towns like Burnley.
  • Unite Against Fascism
    National campaign with the aim of alerting British society to the rising threat of the extreme right, in particular the British National Party (BNP), gaining an electoral foothold in this country.
